age differences ehhhh!

well. people say that age doesn’t matter. but i think in certain circumstances, it does matter.

a big age difference in the 20s-30s probably means you’re both at different stages in your life. and i feel like that could cause some tension in a relationship. where the younger person may want to go out and party downtown and be social, the older person may want to do low key things because they are over that stage in their life or because they have bigger responsibilities.

then again, it could work! you may find a person who is older/ younger than you but at the same maturity level or stage in their life! so i guess it really depends!

i have always dated older guys. the biggest age difference was 5 years. and i found it hard because even though he was older, he didn’t have much of his life figured out. and that’s fine, everybody takes it at their own pace! but i want more drive and aspiration in someone i’m dating. someone who was going to challenge me and inspire me to do better!
